We are pro FACT and pro REASON, and above all place the ability of any individual to think and do as they please, as long as it objectively does not impede on the ability of others to do the same.

As is so evident to anyone who makes the effort to look outside of their own bubble, we clearly see that most of the popular media has abandoned almost all sense of truth and objectivity in favor of the ideology d’jour, or some another agenda. That that fact poses a truly existential threat to liberal (free) societies everywhere.

We don’t use the word “libtards”, nor do we seek to “own the libs”, etc.

We are liberals; but in the true, meaningful, original sense of that word (which derives from the Latin “libre” = FREE), the philosophy that has created countless increases in the standard of living for great swaths of the Earth. Liberalism allowed for multitudes of men and women to break free of traditional bonds of class, caste, and mandatory religious affiliation, freed so many to ‘live and love as they choose’. Western Liberalism is the very philosophy that ended the transatlantic slave trade. 

In this sense we are in sharp contrast to illiberal, radical ideologies that have infected so many of our former free thinking, rational countrymen…many of these ideologies preying on liberal ideals, but in fact are far from them; intolerant, narrow, authoritarian. 

We are also (and have been) well aware of the forces that have long been working to divide and conquer liberal democracies around the globe.  Our goal is to shine the light of truth on them and on the issues they twist and spin and amplify through an all-too-willing press; much of which in today’s world would make Joseph Goebbels’ envious.

And just so you know dear reader, we are as suspicious and critical of the far right as we are of the far left.  However, the far right do not currently have a level of control over media, corporations, bureaucracies or other cultural institutions as do the illiberal forces that currently dominate the left, so this is where we are focused.

We believe that those who would deprive someone from their inherent right to express themselves without fear of recrimination are truly deplorable, in the true sense of the word.  The same goes for those who go out of their way to keep facts and ideas from others.

In response to recent histrionic and intolerant calls for screenings of this important film to be canceled, we will simply respond to the careless assertions made by those behind it.

They call the film ‘right-wing’; this is absurd to the point of being libelous. The filmmakers (some of whom are gay and/or have gay children) are dedicated, life-long, Liberal Democrats.  We request any of the detractors to offer actual evidence of them –or this film—being ‘right wing’.

The film is not anti-trans people, nor is it even anti sex change surgery; there are trans people in the film speaking against the sudden rush to powerful drugs and major surgeries that are have increased exponentially in the past decade, and which have statistically caused far more pain and suffering than they’ve prevented.

The “QT Project’s” characterization of detransitioning as “conversion therapy” is a weak, underhanded attempt to conflate detransitioning with that despicable and sometimes devastating practice of the past.  Nice try, kids.  It might be worth noting here that there’s an infamously repressive theocracy on the other side of the globe where ‘gender-affirming’ surgery is the only option given to gay men and women, who may otherwise be executed under law.

Has this “QT” group distanced itself from gay people? Perhaps looking to harm them? The film is very pro-gay. It also makes the point very clearly, that some of the worst harm that ‘gender-affirming care’ is causing is to kids who would otherwise grow up to be happy, well-adjusted gay men and women. Perhaps this is what frightens “The QT Project”, not dissimilar from the theocracy mentioned above.

Or perhaps it is something else; perhaps they are on the payroll of those who profit from this –so much of what they are doing is resulting in the creation of life-long surgical and pharmaceutical patients are doing so to great benefit of certain surgical clinics and pharmaceutical companies.

It is quite evident that those undertaking this crusade against this film have not had the courtesy of seeing it before taking such extreme actions to silence it.
